This Contemporary Octet is powered by killer drummer Tony Pia (Doobie Brothers, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Maynard Ferguson). He brings his special magical interpretation to every chart.

Accompanied by Bass player Bill Bodine (Joan Armatrading, The Manhattan Transfer, Olivia Newton-John) brings the groove and Rocky Davis on Keys( Arranger, Solid Gold, Marilyn McCoo) rounds out the Rhythm!

Outstanding Trumpeter Paul Litteral (The Uptown Horns, The Rolling Stones, J. Geils Band) are just a few of the OUTRAGEOUS musicians in this dynamic and original group.

This group performs all FRESH and original arrangements to celebrate the very talented and ultra musical Peggy Lee. Led by Bandleader and vocalist Angela O'Neill (Angela was a classically trained Oboe player for 10 years before returning to her true passion of singing). Angela will be joined by some very special guests!

LOVE is in the air...and the it's OUTRAGEOUS!  Daboyz and Al and Jackie and I are thrilled to be celebrating LOVE SONGS on February 26th at the world famous Catalina Jazz Club...located 6725 Sunset Blvd...it Hollywood, CA...please purchase your tickets in advance..

Love songs...are kind of a staple of ....songs? Aren't they?  Our collection of original arrangements of Outrageous8 love songs is pretty impressive...the difficulty is deciding which ones!!  I think we decided at rehearsal on Wednesday night...to go with ROMANTIC tunes.  

As ever, we are so grateful to those folks who support jazz and our little band that could....Here's hoping you had a wonderful Valentine's day...and lots of LOVE in your life...in whatever form it may appear.

Angela O'Neill and the Outrageous 8 are a little big band octet with original arrangements of standards in the Nat King Cole/Frank Sinatra tradition.

We play a variety of styles pop, oldies, Latin, Brazilian, jazz as well as some original tunes.

The Outrageous 8 is made up of some of the finest musicians in the LA area including, Harry Smallenburg, trombone, Paul Litteral on trumpet, Sam Morgan, Tenor and Musical director, Ron Cyger on alto and Soprano, Rich Walker on Bari and Flute, Rocky Davis on Piano, Michael Rosen on drums, and Phil Romo on Bass.. Angela is phenomenal on vocals we have other guest singers including Al Timss and Jackie Gibson and even a spoken-word artist Judy Barrat.
